Prepoduction Begins

Hey Everyone.

We have recently started preproduction on a new short for the DVXuser "All Hallow's Fest." Right now I am trying to get a final copy of the script done, and then I hope to film September 12 and 13. Basically the film has to deal with the theme of "Darkness" and must feature a glass of red wine. I'm not really the most "dark" of filmmakers, but I am giving it my best shot.

Oh and I am working on getting a web server so that we will no longer need youtube compression.

First A1 Grabs

Hey everyone,
I recently purchased the Canon XHA1 camera and I am having a blast with it. I thought I would upload the first couple of screen grabs. These are just some shots of the pretty nature my neighbors have in their yard.

No color correction has been done in post. All colors are a mix of white balancing to a blue card and a custom preset that boosts the reds. I was going for a sunset/transformers look to the footage. I hope you enjoy it. Oh this was all shot in SD 16:9.
